Rapper Rick Ross is on the way to his third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.
“Deeper Than Rap” looks likely to debut atop the list next Wednesday, according to industry forecasts. Based on its first-day sales Tuesday, prognosticators say the album will sell over 150,000 copies in its first week. Ross’ last set, 2008’s “Trilla,” bowed at No. 1 with 198,000 while 2006’s “Port of Miami” also did the same, but with 187,000.
